Steven Blum
Director, Global Product Development
Steven is responsible for the development, rollout and management of research products within Lightspeed Research, particularly those involving integrated datasets and observed behavioral data. He joined Lightspeed in 2007 as Principal Consultant in the Financial Services Group where he worked with major financial services clients to address a wide range of marketing, customer management and strategic issues.
Prior to Lightspeed, Steven served as Vice President at Bank of America Card Services (previously MBNA) in a variety of marketing, competitive analysis and strategy roles. Key initiatives included development and implementation of behavior-based segmentation, co-branded marketing, product development, and optimizing sales strategies for existing customers.
He began his career as a management consultant with Arthur D. Little. He graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Systems Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science and Finance from the Wharton School.
Steven lives outside of Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
